Anisotropic supercurrent due to inhomogeneous magnetization in ferromagnet/superconductor junctions

چکیده
We investigate transverse charge and spin dc supercurrents in a ferromagnet coupled to superconductor where the has inhomogeneous magnetic structure. These arise from nontrivial structure of magnetization. The manifested supercurrent is essentially different that discussed context anomalous Hall effect, reflecting dissipationless nature supercurrent. Possible candidates verify our prediction are also discussed.

Supercurrent Switch in Graphene Junctions
We study the supercurrent in a superconductor/ferromagnet/superconductor graphene junction. In contrast to its metallic counterpart, the oscillating critical current in our setup decays only weakly upon increasing the exchange field and junction width. We find an unusually large residual value of the supercurrent at the oscillatory cusps due to a strong deviation from a sinusoidal current-phase...

Quasiclassical Green's functions of a short superconductor/normal metal/superconductor (SNS) junction are calculated for multi-mode junction with arbitrary electron transmission properties. They provide the basis for description of all of the junction transport characteristics , and are used to calculate the equilibrium spectral density of supercurrent fluctuations.

We measure the low-temperature resistance of permalloy break junctions as a function of contact size and the magnetic field angle in applied fields large enough to saturate the magnetization. For both nanometer-scale metallic contacts and tunneling devices we observe large changes in resistance with the angle, as large as 25% in the tunneling regime. The pattern of magnetoresistance is sensitiv...
متن کاملSpontaneous supercurrent induced by ferromagnetic pi junctions.
We present magnetization measurements of mesoscopic superconducting niobium loops containing a ferromagnetic (PdNi) pi junction. The loops are prepared on top of the active area of a micro-Hall sensor based on high mobility GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures. We observe asymmetric switching of the loop between different magnetization states when reversing the sweep direction of the magnetic field. Th...
